New board game orders and pre-orders

I recently went on a game buying binge… well, more of a game pre-ordering binge. To be fair, I have not been spending my monthly allocated board game budget for a fair while, so this is not anything financially dangerous. It is, however, totally ridiculous. It will take me months to play all of these new games. But between pre-order discounts, item scarcity and exciting new releases, I have managed to order fourteen new board games and expansions!

This past Saturday I joined up with some fellow DC Gamers for an afternoon of games. I took a backpack full of recent games with me, and managed to get quite a few of them to the table. Thanks to everyone for playing all the games I brought! We ended up playing Steam, Exxtra, Hurry Cup and Drahtseilakt.

I ordered an expensive import game without even playing it yet! Why do I do these things? This time, the game is Automobile by Martin Wallace, published in his fairly new Treefrog Games line.
