Session report: Rat-a-Tat Cat & Quiddler

Last night I got together with my friends Adam & Elise for a lovely sushi dinner. After we finished stuffing our faces with tons of maki and nigiri sushi we opted to play a few games. We decided to play some light card games, so ended up getting Rat-a-Tat Cat and Quiddler to the table.

New (to me) game book – Things We Think About Games

I’ve decided to start reading books on game creation and design, theory of play and fun, etc. One of the first books I have ordered on the subject has shown up today: Things We Think About Games by Will Hindmarch and Jeff Tidball.

Insane game purchase – Mythgardia

Once again, my game collector nature has caused me to spend a fair chunk of money on a rare and possibly interesting title. On which game did I spend the grocery moneyon this time? Mythgardia by Bob Harris, designer of the old classic game Talisman.
